    Although pump fuel over here in the UK has higher octane rating than US the way they measurement is made is different. Therefore 99 octane UK pump fuel is equivalent to 94 octane US. I did some research into this before ordering my s/c kit and xcal2 tune.

    Edge - that sounds exactly like the noise I was getting from my Vortech when I thought I had a bearing problem! After getting new bearings and seals the blower still made a similer sound. Now I have more miles on the car - the noise is much quieter but still noticeable.

    I checked my bypass valve last night the way I had it hooked up with the Vortech and it was operating fine so I don't think that was the problem. Just waiting for Vortech now....

    I double checked, I am spinning the corect way with the wrench - it looks wrong because the bracket is upside down and facing the camera. It sounds even worse in the other direction! LOL! Hopefully Vortech should get it back next week so they can get me another one out ASAP!

    Fedex came by today to pick up the Vortech. I had an email yesterday from Vortech saying they thought th e noise was normal so I called them up an told them it was unacceptable. Turn around should be 1 1/2 weeks plus shipping time. I will playing the waiting game again!

    Key Fob Programming Problems
