    2006 350Z vs. 2006 Mustang GT

    They did a comparision between those two cars in a magazine (I forget which sorry) The Mustang was the defined winner in straight line acceleration, but the 350Z was more nimble and was able to beat the mustang's lap time on the course. Meaning- lower the mustang and put better stabilizers on.

    Thanks, Yep that is Cervinis front bumper. And I have seen these wheels on a black magnum and they looked real good. It took almost three months to get these rims.

    Thanks, The front wheels are 20x8.5 and the rear wheels are 20x10, I am running 255/35/ZR20's on the front and 285/30/ZR20's on the rear.

    You are right the front sits a little less than half an inch lower. I do not like anything out right now so I am in the process of building my own. Something just to blend in because I don't want to go crazy on the body mods, just enough to set it apart. I will save my money for the go fast parts.

    With the wheels, tires, springs, front bumper, cold air, throttle body, exhaust(not installed yet), ducktail spoiler(still at body shop), Tint. It all ran around 3800- the paint was free.

    In my opinion I would opt for the GT. I have modded a couple 2005 V-6s, There are great cars but I love my GT. but thats just me.

    20" Rims

    BleeBlee:I completely agree with you. to me the car feels more solid and handles better with the 20"s then it did with the 17"s. But then again I only had the 17"'s on my car for about 20 miles.:nice:

    It is true that you will not get the best handling from 20" wheels. But same can be said for the 17" due to the tires sidewall height. An 18" to a 19" would be the best choice for handling.

    yeah they are available. I got them threw Just Tires. I got the grey wheels not the black.

    I have the foose nittro's 8.5x20 in the front and 10x20 in the rear. I am running 255/35/20 BFG KDW2's on the front and 285/30/20' s on the rear ( recommended by BFG). Speedo is a slight bit off, nothing to worry about. My car is lowered and I have no rubbing issues even with the steering turned...

    JL_Tampa- Nothing to crazy. I am shaving the trunk emblem and lock, lowering springs, new wheels, customizing the interior a little, new front fascia, tint, exhaust, and a ducktail wing, and a custom fiberglass sub enclosure (small and removable). Future mods- Whipple S/C and other go fast...

    I just picked up a set of them today at Pep Boys, they cost 25 bucks. and they will fit those wheels fine.
