    alignment woes

Not the case with my car, I've bought both styles from NPD, and they fit like a glove. I had the straight chrome one, but didn't like that I had to take it off to do any distributor work. So I bought the curved black one, which is easier to maintain, and it made changing plug wires a breeze. :nice:

    66 mustang overheating??

You don't need to replace the housing, just the t-stat. Did you check the bottom hose? It could be the problem. As far as changing the t-stat, just put the big round part (sensor) down (inside the block), and the bell looking part (top) should be exposed until you remout the housing. Buy a...

NPD has those too, they are 20 gallon vs our 16 gallon. Just add 40 more bucks to the total.

    66 mustang overheating??

Do you mean the engine smokes, or the radiator spews steam out somewhere. Check your lower hose and see if it is really soft to squeeze together. If so, toss it and get one with a spring in it, the old one is probably collapsing in on itself after the engine starts to pull the coolant through it.

    exhaust condensation

It's normal. As long as it's just drips, and don't have coolant in it.

spiders and bugs and webs OH MY......

My car is sitting too, and I had the same problem, but I soaked the crap out of it with bug spray. I don't want to be cruising along and feel the poison of a Black Widow going through my body. I tried spraying it off with water but they were back the very next day. I don't hate them, just don't...

How do I change Leaf Springs?

Try them first, one of mine came out so easy I thought it was going to be a breeze. Boy was I wrong. Sawzall did the other, but not without a 6 hour fight. Luck

    Throttle linkage

I got my spring going toward the front, simply because if the linkage comes loose, it goes to idle instead of WOT.
