94 Mustang - Car Shuts Off While Driving

My 95 did something similar when the stator and TFI module in the distributor went bad. It would shut off when I was cruising down the freeway. Kerry

    Fuel Cracked Fuel Rail Crossover

Thank you Jozsefsz. Good info. After closer inspection this afternoon, I've come to the conclusion that the aftermarket crossovers will not fit the stock fuel rails. I'll have to check into just using some push lock fuel line to replace the cracked line, or possibly upgrading the rails might be...

    Fuel Cracked Fuel Rail Crossover

While driving my 95 GTS 5.0L a week ago last Saturday, I started smelling raw gas. I searched but couldn't find any fuel leaks. Learned today that the factory fuel rail crossover line is cracked and has been spraying fuel directly at the distributor. Has anyone else needed to replace their...

Rpm's Went Up But Car Speed Didn't Increase

I'd bet my paycheck it's your clutch. You may baby the car, but the previous owner may have abused the hell out of the car (which is likely, given the modifications you've described). When my original clutch failed @ 90K miles, it did EXACTLY the things you have described... just saying. Kerry

Wheels-Tires Anyone Out There Running Gold Wheels?

Those look sharp! I've wanted a set of gold wheels to put on my GTS that's deep forest green... I've got a set of deep-dish, staggered 17" Bullits with riveted rims on it now with Anthracite spokes, I'm thinking of having them powder-coated in gold.

SN95 Does Anyone Use Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts?

Thanks for the great answers, guys! I see there's more options than I thought. Madspeed, I like how the Proform bolts work, I'm just wondering if you had trouble putting them in tight spaces where they are difficult to access. I've read that 12-point bolt heads can make for easier installs. Does...

    Bbk

I have an MGW short-throw shifter in my '95 GTS. I like it because it's a forged unit rather than cast parts, so it's stronger than a B&M or PRO-5.0 shifter. It was advertised as having the shortest throw of any aftermarket shifter, but the thing I like most is the adjustability of the shifter...

SN95 Does Anyone Use Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts?

I'm planning to install a set of BBK long-tube headers on my '95, and want to use the best setup so I don't have to retighten them once a month... Stage 8's, or does anyone prefer to use the ARP Stainless bolts with a dab of Locktite on them?

    Longtube Headers?

That answers my question of why the h-pipe, sound quality is an important factor in purchasing new exhaust. I didn't realize the x-pipe is so much raspier than an h-pipe. Kurt, where can I find more info on the Prochamber? I've never heard of that one. Guess I'm gonna have to do some more...

    Longtube Headers?

Why an h-pipe? For just a little more money, you can get an x-pipe that'll flow better than your h-pipe could. Personally, that's what I plan on doing.

    Sexy wheels oh baby ooh

I found my wheels on e-bay, a company called OE Wheels Direct. Haven't got pictures to post, but they're a 17" Bullet with polished deep-dish rims with rivets between the spokes and Anthracite spokes and center section. 17-10.5's on the rear, 17-9's on the front. They fit perfectly, and look...

found my 5 speed, going to see a red 94 GT

Okay, here's my two-bits worth: I know that the info lists subframe connectors, but did anyone else note the lack of a shock tower cross-brace? That would be a major concern for me, having the chassis flex side to side.:nono: Kerry

    Heater Core Woes

Well, my '95 Mustang GT is once again parked with yet another blown heater core, this is the fifth one to fail. :bang: I've had the cooling system flushed several times, installed a Fluidyne radiator, replaced a leaking water pump, yet I continue to have heater cores fail at a rate of about once...

    Anybody know Airbags?

Thanks everyone, lots of great info, as usual. I'll have to check the codes in the morning, will post what I find. Kerry Okay, checked the codes this morning, came up with code 12, lost battery feed. Not sure why, maybe the fuse blew. Gotta dig deeper (groan!). Thanks again to all who led...

    Anybody know Airbags?

After having the car down for far too long, it's been back on the road for about a week. So yesterday morning I fire it up to head to work, and the airbag light comes on as usual, goes out (again, as usual), I back out and start rolling and the light starts flickering on and off several times...

Black 95 GTS has trouble cranking

Spillerz, I had a similar problem with my 95 GTS several years ago. Turned out to be the TFS module and stator inside the distributor. That's where I'd have your mechanic looking. 'Course, it's best to have a Mustang guy working on it, as those are the ones most familiar with your cars...
