    Midle gets stuck and backfires when I shut off.

    Once in a while my cars RPM's get stuck between 1500-2200 RPM and the the idle doesnt go back to normal until I shut the car off the as soon as its off it gives a loud backfire. What could this be?

    Smotimes my idle gets stuck between 1500-2500 RPM, WTF.

    It began to happen a couple of days ago, As soon as I let of the throttle the RPM needle gets stuck and my idle is high. One time the car even backfired really loud as soon as I shut it off. So what I do is turn the car off and then turn it back on so the idle is back to normal. What could be wrong?

    How much HP should I expect with Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock 6037 heads, 1.7 RR's, and E303 cam? I have the stock block and my mods are in my sig, any other suggestions welcomed.     Cant get stock shifter off?

    Im replacing it on my 91 Gt with a Pro. 50 shifter, I already took off the 4 bolts holding the stock shifter but it feels like its glued on or something because it just wont come off. Are there any more bolts I could have missed?
