    my slow 98 needs help

    I have a 98 gt and i cant say that it has all been a waste because it is a hell of a lot faster than when i first got it. It ran 15.10 when i got it and now it goes 13.7. All of this is with bolt ons.

    Gas mileage getting worse by the tank

    our cars only have a 14.7 gal gas. so you are not going to get a lot of miles to a tank. i have a 98 and i get something like 265 city and 330 highway, and i have 3.73 geara. and yes i did fix the speedo- odometer.

    kramer03gt The numbers that slp claims it very true but it is a engine hp number what you are thinking of is rear wheel number. You need heads and cams to get just over 300 at the tire. But no where near all that to make that at the engine.(flywheel)

    well guys i have a 100 shot on my car and it works pretty good. only had for a week now and i like it. It is a wet kit, as far a hp i dont know but did go to the track and mph was 107mph. Pretty good compaired to 98mph on motor.

    Took of my mufflers, should i have done it?

    ya try disconnecting the battery like kilgore trout said and see what happens. if that doesnt work double check there are no leaks.
