I've had some on mine for about a year - felt great at first, but now starting to feel like worn out stockers so I'll be upgrading them in the near future...

Car is surging and idleing poorly- REALLY stumped

I know this is a bit old - but what did you determine to be the cause of this? I am having the exact same symptoms and have been banging my head for a week trying to figure it out.

Need new shocks /w Eibach pro kit?

I just finished my rear springs yesterday. Didn't have the dough for the cc plates when I did the front, but now wish I would have waited until I did since when you do the front you have everything out anyway. I went with cheap monroe sensa-tracs all around. Rides great.

Do you torque your spark plugs ??

Yeah, it's 14, at least that's what I torque mine to.

Nee to replace my clutch, what do you think about this clutch? - Discuss

That one is too pricey for me. I just got a spec stage 2 and had the stock flywheel resurfaced when I replaced mine. Works great.

Severe idle problems after TB/Plenum/O/R X-pipe install

Have any exhaust leaks? My car was overall running poorly, especially idling bad and stalling. Turns out I had leaks at the the header collector (to the x pipe just behind the o2's) and once that was fixed it started running like a champ again.

Anyone NOT running a "crossover" mid pipe?

I remember reading a while back that because of the firing order having an x or h pipe helps.

    Header studs

Personally I wouldn't reuse them - I picked up a set of stage 8 locking bolts, they are definitely worth it. The headers I got did come with a set of bolts though.

    Lifting Engine Out

You can get plates from Ford but they are expensive. I can't remember the price, but for one or two uses I couldn't justify it. When I pulled mine out I removed the intake and used those bolts to connect the chain to each head in the middle. Worked just fine, but I'm getting ready to pull it...

Is there a fix for leaking slip-fit LT headers?

Yeap, I did the same - just covered it with the muffler putty/cement.

Cobra top vs. GT top ?

The top on my GT is pretty worn and I'm thinking about replacing it soon. Would a cobra top fit on a GT?

    Best Buffer?

I just got a Porter Cable 7424 and finally got to polish my car last weekend and I am extremely impressed with how well that thing works - makes my 6 year old paint look new. Definitely worth the money.

    Comp cams measurements & discussion

I didn't know that until AFTER I bought a set of the XE270's, but luckily caught it before the engine was built. The engine builders had to cut reliefs in the pistons to give enough clearance to avoid ptv contact. I haven't heard of any problems with XE262's...
