    Ok, @ idle i have about 25lbs. with vacuum line on...38-39lbs. with vac line off...is this correct?? And when the engine is off should fuel pressure stay? or does it purge after awhile??

    Damn throw-out bearing?? mine was very loud and changed as i accelerated....the ticking would stop when i'd push in the clutch.

    Mine was doing the same crap and appeareantley the stock T-5 has an aluminum bearing retainer that wears out and need's to be replaced with a steel bearing retainer that at the most will run you about $60....I found one on ebay for $40...good luck.

    A friend said Ford had issues with aftermarket evp's so he said they would shimm the sensor or grind the pintle......He like's beer alot so i'm not sure if he's just full of it. Anyway just wondering if any body has ever heard of this?? Thank's

    I dumped the codes and came up w/ 33 & 41 (fuel system lean and egr not responding) so searched for vac leak and was ok. So instead of replacing an $80 dollar egr i found that the egr solenoid could be the problem but dont know how to check and would'nt that of given a code??? please somebody...

    Purpose of painting an Engine Block?

    I can't remember what type of paint this guy used but he described it as black rough and krinkley looking.He could'nt figure out why he was over heating and after spending a bunch of money it was narrowed down to the paint on the block, so he stripped it and no more over heating.

    T:) hank's jrichker, I've figured it out for now I believe....simply put...brittle vacuum lines. I'm finding that propper vacuum is an absolute key to the way these car's run.

    Ok, 33 says that the EGR did not open or respond...probabley improper vac?? And 41- system lean. Do these two coincide??? And I've seen the schematic for the vacuum lines but I'm getting somthing wrong w/ the EGR vac line... I think. Thank's, Dave

    Sorry no pic's,camera on the fritz. When i pulled the sensor it had carbon build up on it. So this would lead me to believe that it would be somthing other than a coolant sensor.
