Nice tip John! I'll check out the shifter! It just seemed strange having such a large ally driveshaft on a factory trans. The car is also procharged with a p600b so I guess the trans was repaced at some point!

Im sure I can see the tremec logo on the tail housing. It's hard to see when it is in the car with the exhaust running under it. Any other ways of identifying without pulling it out?

I bought an LX fox off my buddy. It has a massive 5" ally drive shaft. I looked at the trans underneath the car but it is hard to make out any numbers. I do see the tremec logo on the tail housing though. The metal tag has 13 52 208 which I found is a 92 5.0 WC. But is this a factory WC...

So I guess the main grounds I need to check are behind the battery, block/manifold to firewall right? I dont normally do wiring , so sorry If I need a simple explanation!

It is a little flimsy, but not very noticable! You could always make a couple of small aluminum brackets to help re-stiffen if you need to! :nice:

Hi Guys, I still have surging idle, so need to check my grounds! I have changed my TPS, changed the fuel filter, I dont run MAF or IDE as Im running an aftermarket ECU so im thinking grounds are the next step! Where are the main grounds I need to check?

Does anyone know the Ford Part No for a new Prop Valve?

I have checked all the lines, and im sure its coming from the nut on the front of the valve. The fluid is leaking on the bottom.

Is there a rebuild kit available? I cant find a replecement valve!

I noticed I am loosing brake fluid everytime I drive the car! It looks like it is coming from the block underneath the master cylinder where all the lines come out, but all the lines are tight and nothing has been touched. Has anyone else had this? What is this block called?

I just recieved my universal headlight harness from suvlights.com but I didn't get any instructions with it? :shrug: I dont do alot of electrical work, so I just want to check a few things! I guess its fairly strait forward...plug in all the headligt sockets, but where do I put the relay's...

Hi jrichker, The problem is i am using engine management with a new ECU. So this probably wont give me any codes even though the stock ECU is still pluged in and working with the new one! Do I have to set the butterfly in the throttle body first, then adjust the TPS? Or am I doing...

Ok, so checked the voltage....I clicked the ignition ON and then checked using the green wire as live, and earthed off a bolt on the body. Voltage was 1.7v. loosened the 2x screws and rotated the TPS till I got .99v. Started the car but ran rough!! The idle had dropped off from 1100rpm...

I haven't checked the TPS voltage yet! It only happens when I stamp on the pedal fast! If I push into it its fine!

I also have random idle and a whistle noise!! I only have a gasket between my upper and lower intake. Do you guys use a sealer too? I have the Systemax II intake. It never used to do it, but all of a sudden now I get this whistle now and high to low revs at idle, and I cant find the...
