Yes, look for rust in strut towers and engine bay, door hinge area, bottom of the doors, look underneath and check frame rails and floor pans for rust and holes. if it has a sunroof, the sunroof channels. hatch cars can get rust on the bottom of the hatch near the taillights. What would you sell your Fox Body for?

I would not part with mine, would take a lot and nobody would entertain it. I put too much of my personal time into it and I am still not done. I bought my white 93 lx hatch in August 1998 and traded a 1991 red LX auto coupe for it, I wanted a 5 speed lol. I currently have an engine vibe I...

'88 GT Convertible - Croatia, Europe

Is the radio system wired to have speakers there? I didn't see any wiring in your pic but I've never had a convertible either. Looks like a good project :nice:

Am I missing my charcoal canister?

If there are no gas leaks on the engine especially around the fuel injectors and rails I would definitely check the charcoal canister and lines going from it to the fuel tank. Part of the line is rubber and part is steel tube.. Also check the exhaust for leaks.

Engine Issues with new Contour Electric Fan Conversion Setup

If you have the factory computer and sensors, the computer is programmed to operate normally starting around 195-200 deg F so if running around using a 180 stat the computer may still be in warm up mode constantly. 210 F is normal operating temp, the oem thermostat is 195, once above around...

Pulling the trigger on Holley terminator x.

Sorry for late reply but I had a MSD pro billet distributor, was giving me problems and might have been the pickup coil so switched to my oem factory one and it was fine. I imagine the dual sync are ok, haven't heard any bad feedback about them.

    Engine GT40 heads upgrade

It is a billet steel core, that is why. The factory cams are a cast steel core and cheaper to make. I have a custom FTI cam in my 363 stroker and I love it. http://www.flowtechinduction.com/fti-custom-hr-roller-camshaft-ford-billet/

    Engine GT40 heads upgrade

The E303 cam is pretty dated although it is a decent cam. See FTI website for a good cam alternative for the GT40 setup. It may be a bit pricey but Ed Curtis knows his stuff http://www.flowtechinduction.com/fti-gt40-kr1-hydraulic-roller-camshaft/

I see used explorer intakes both EGR and non EGR on ebay and you can get them from a pick and pull or order them from the online junkyard carpart.com at a pretty good price. Just search 1996 Ford Explorer with 5.0 V8 https://www.car-part.com/
