    Best modification approach

This may have been discussed before but being a somewhat newbie, what do you guys think the best dollar per horse power modification are (going from least expensive to the most expensive)? Thanks.

    Color sanding?

I'm thinking about repairing the front bumper (removing road scratches) by using a fine grid sand paper and finishing off the job with a clear coat finish after the sanding. Is this what is called color sanding? Just removing the clear coat and a fraction of the base coat? Thanks.

    Caliper delimia

I thought I'd change out the front brake pads this past weekend but when I came to the repair section in my manual I was a little stumped. According to Haynes, the caliper is either a single piston caliper or dual. The only dual piston caliper shown is for a Cobra Mustang. That's not mine...

Do I really need an "h" pipe?

Well, that about sums it up. I'm currently gathering parts for a dual exhaust setup and started to wonder if I really need to purchase an "h" pipe. Ideas? Suggestions?

    rear sway bar?

I'm not sure if I should be posting this question here but I'm having extreme difficulty locating a used GT rear sway bar for my '00. I have called 12 local yards and nothing has come of it. I found a yard in Kansas asking 50.00 for it but they are telling me the shipping is going to cost...

    Slipping rear end?

Okay, I know RWD has it's down side BUT I guess I was expecting alittle more from Ford when it came to modern technology. I've been noticing a little rear slipping on some road surfaces, in particular, asphalt. Especially when turning. The tires I currently have look fairly new and have...

    sticking selt belts

Thanks for the replies on both concerns. Oh, and the exhaust leak is exactly as you described it to be GTA_V6_Mustang. Or at least that's what I remember from what the technician told me. The seat belts are still causing me a headache. I tried pulling them all the way out but that didn't help...

    Plugs and wires to get?

Speaking from experience, stick with either the dual platnium plugs or 4 Bosch Platnium plugs. And, if you do use either one, make sure you have a good set of wires. The Autolite Professional Series spark plug wires are a very good set of spark plug wires. Anything beyond 45.00 for a set of...

    sticking selt belts

Morning gents! Well, I thought my newly acquire Mustang was a pretty good deal for $7,000 but I'm having second thoughts about it already. First, which is probably not a big deal, is an exhaust leak. The car has less than 52,000 miles on it and is already suffering from an irratating...

    considering tire and rim swap

New (and old) guy here considering a tire and wheel swap for my newly purchased 2000 stang. Currently the car has 205/65 R15's, which look a little small in the rear, and I am looking for something to give it a little more aggressive stance without sacrificing too much fuel economy (did I...

    Superchargers

Well, one thing to remember whenever you perform an engine swap - titleability (if that's a word). Some states require you to jump through hoops after an engine swap has been done. Especially on newer cars (i.e., 2000+). For obvious reasons such as matching VIN, safety, emissions and not to...

    new V6 owner w/ exhaust ?

Does anyone know or have they heard anything about MAC performance dual exhaust set-up for the 3.8L V-6? I'm talking about the system that connects to the end of the "y" pipe and not the system that uses an "h" pipe. It part #TK3849 Thanks!
