I believe that the bullitt intake does not make much difference when it comes to horsepower. But obviously, it would hold up much better than the plastic mainfold. The bullitt had 265 horses I believe, but it was in the tune, as compared to the 260 horse GT. Most guys on here will probably tell...

I don't know about not being able to handle boost? Yes, the motor has a high compression, but anywhere from 6-7lbs on boost won't be that hard on it.

A good and fairly cheap way to start is an offroad midpipe. Just put my x pipe on a few weeks ago and i must say that it does add some more bark in the upper range of the power band. Sounds good as well.

Check your IAC. They go bad all the time. Should be a $5 part at autozone.

For #1, I believe that there is a gear behind the panel which drives the mileage count. It should be fairly simple to replace from what I've read on here. For #2, I would start by checking the EGR, IAC, IAT, O2 sensors, etc... The reader does not give you a specific code though?

I believe you would pull it via a couple of bolts that go into the block itself. They should be on top near the alternator, I think. I'm basing this off of pulling a 306 a few times, so it maybe a bit different for the mod motor.

Chances are if it has leather, it has the mach 460. For a shaker you would have to find a kit, cut a hole in the hood and do some fabricating on top of the motor to get it to stay put.
