    Convertible Top Conditioning?

They sell special cleaner for 'vert tops at most auto parts stores (at least around here I've seen it), I doubt it will reverse fading, but it's worth a shot.

Mounting oil pickup with ARP main bolts?

You basically have to order 1 stud and an extra nut. I had the same problem. Just tell them what you're doing and they'll be able to figure it out. I think I had to get one stud from the studs they use with windage trays (but I could be wrong).

    info on a 1986 5.0

Not entirely true, as was already stated, you can you Trick Flow heads with a decent sized cam. I'm running the stage 1 with 1.7rr's, Trick Flow claimed I could even run the stage 2, but I didn't want to.

    Strut tower brace

They bolt to the strut towers (obviously) and the firewall. I have one similar to the bottom one and yes, it bolts to the firewall under the cowl area. It is pretty easy, probably a half-hour install. The top one probably bolts to the pinch seem on the firewall. Looks like the top one might...

86 GT Questions, about to buy..

They are speed density cars through 88 I believe. The conversion to MAF is very simple, but costs a couple hundred bucks if I remember correctly. The engine is a 5.0L just like any other. The difference is in the heads. They are restrictive compared to later years which subsequently drops...

    'vert top frame swap

That's what I was thinking, but that's fine I'll take my time installing it. Thanks for the reply bennettracing. Does anybody know if 86-93 are all interchangable?

    'vert top frame swap

I'm replacing by convertible's top, frame, motor, everything. The car is an 86 GT. The new stuff will be coming from an 88 (I believe), but if it is later will it still fit? I know they changed the design slightly. The main thing I need to know about is how to swap the frame out. Thanks in...

Why do my lifters keep cocking sideways?

I've heard the ford racing lifters are only rated to .500 overall lift, but I can't say that for a fact and I doubt that is the problem anyway (just something to consider).

believe in SPIRITS? my OFF TOPIC story.

That's creepy, I bet there are some websites for that kind of thing. Maybe try to find the websites for those ghost shows on the discovery or travel channels (don't remember which one it's on) and see if they have links.

    trickflow stage1 cam annoying?

Just to clarify, this is the correct powerband (not to 6500) which I have verified with Trick Flow. I love the cam, but will probably be changing from 3.27's to 3.73's to get more acceleration down low.

    Mustang Vs. Deer

Join the club, I killed one last year, had to replace the windshield and I still have to replace the hood. I can't ever seem to find deer in the woods with my gun, but the Mustang finds them anytime I drive at night!

    Mens hunting stang photo thread

I killed a deer with my stang, does that count? lol I have a Ruger Mini-14 with some nice accessories, a 22, and I will soon be adding a 1911 to that collection. Still haven't gotten around to getting my hunting license, but I will eventually.

    A trick-flow guestion

I agree, not to steal the thread, but how much boost are you running frcefedlx (or does 7" mean 7 pounds?) and what kind of quarter mile times are you running? BG85GT: I love Trick Flow heads because they allow you to run larger cams without piston to valve issues. Good luck!

HELP! Where Can I buy this Bolt/Stud ASAP ??

If you call Summit and tell them what you need they should have it. I used an ARP stud and two bolts. The stud is from their windage tray hardware I believe, so it is long enough to work. This is if you want to use aftermarket hardware of course. By the way, I agree that power steering is...

    4....5....point harnesses..looking for opinions

Yea, I think it would look better if you had seats with the slots for the harness, but it might still look ok with stock style seats. I'm going to have to use a harness with the stock seats for a little bit cuz of the track's rules and I'm sure other people have to do the same. Does anybody...

I would say it depends on what seats you have.
