They really are a PITA to do. Took me 5 hours lying on my back to do them in my 96 Cobra. Didnt drop the K member, just lifted the engine. As far as labor is concerned, I would think someone who knows what hes doing and has a proper lift could do the job in about 2-3 hours. So the $233...

He forgot to put the anti-rattle clips on the pads before he slid them into the brackets. You can get them at any part store for about $10. They will either have them listed as anti-rattle clips or simply front disc brake hardware.

Thats exactly what my car felt like before I replaced the motor mounts. My money is on the mounts. You can always see the engine move when they are bad, I would go ahead and replace them then go from there. Good Luck.

I just did mine last fall and went with Motorcraft mounts. They were dirt cheap (about $80 for both) and they will hold up much better than the Parts Store crap. For a job thats such a PITA, its worth getting good ones the first time.

You really arent going to gain anything but looks under the hood by buying a CAI for the 96-98 Cobra's. Just remove the air silencer and put a K&N cone in the stock location and you'll be fine. Really no power to gain there.

I looked into this about a month ago and from Ford they are around $250 per side, plus the $90 or so per side for the side markers. So around $700 for OEM headlights. It would be nice to have them but I would just go with the repros at this point, they're not that bad.

The car most likely doesnt even get into closed loop by the time she shuts it off, especially in this colder weather with longer warm-up times. Probably will change the O2's, they might even be the originals...
