Yeah I could tell the guy didn't know classics. He did have me start it while he checked it, and said there was the same amount of play in the control valve. I'll find a different shop that knows Mustangs that can provide guidance IF anything is incorrect. Thanks for the advice guys.

After two LONG years of the '67 not moving. She is once again moving under her own will! I'm obviously far from done, but had to get a drive in to keep my motivation high.

I'm assuming (since there were no instructions included with the starter) that the attached lead on the left is the ignition switched power in, the top big lug is the battery cable in, and the bottom big lug is the ground? Is that correct? It is a mini starter for 93 Ford 5.0 with 157 tooth...
