its only been ONE day since i told the fellow i work with to ask his kid what he's doing with and to tell him i want it......
rare isnt the word to describe it... yes it needs more than a restoration but in the right hands, with documentation and when word gets out...... who knows what it...
actually not as bad as i thought it would be... hardest part was getting your hands up in there and swinging a hammer. i used an assortment of punches varying in tip width and watching not to go into the pan too far.... the tap was hard to find around here, think i had a hardware store order it
forgot to mention my first time at the track on street tires was a 14.1@101 w/ a 2.2 60ft on the old shortblock... hope to go a couple times in april and see what it will do
I used to have an sc trim on my combo last year pushing around 8#s of boost. On the 99k mile shortblock it was putting down 380hp at the wheels on a mustang dyno.
There is a small clip that the headrest shaft snaps into. there is a groove in the shaft that you have to feed something down and pry the clip out and pull on the headrest.... not easy to do
I have a set of drilled/slotted rotors on the way and already got the Hawk HPS pads... supposed to be pretty awesome and around $52, might want to get the stainless caliper bushings as well if your going over the brakes...
its still available. connector w/ 8" leads, works out to be under $5. dont know if you can get anywhere locally. made by Car-pak. part # is 94-7228. hope this helps
did you get that connector yet?? I can definately get you that pigtail.... might take some digging as its been 2 years since i bought one. You definately need to do the foglight fix to keep it from happening again...

those w/ GT's should do this. I burned up one multi switch and the harness and decided to do the fix. no problems at all yet and now can have fogs on w/ just parking lights....

deleting the a/c is about the same as the smog pump. expect 5-8hp tops by removing both. I deleted both systems off mine. Prob 25-30lbs between them. makes doing spark plug changes a breeze as well as other work under the hood.
I have a mclaren rear bumper, pretty much a cobra w/ no lettering but 3 tiny holes where the emblem was mounted. I sold it to a local guy w/ a motor just to get rid of it, but he hasnt paid in full yet. he might sell it if anyone is interested.... black in color in great shape. holes are less...
i'd go w/ the MT dr's. I have a set and was got the car out for a mid winter galavant last night and today since its actually nice. Roads were wet last night. Unless you are trying, they arent too bad... in a down pour might be a little trickier
