I had similar problems with bucking on my '91 and after changing plugs, ignition wires, etc. it ended up that my distributor was bad. Maybe its worth swapping in a know working distributor and taking the car for a spin.

Found the plug on the drivers side of the car. I was going through all the wires because I am not getting any codes on my scanner. Its a 91 mustang gt.

O man thats a relief i feel much better knowing that this is either a problem with spark or fuel! when it cuts out the rpms drop a little then it just comes back on. i was thinking maybe replace the fuel pump and check the order of the plug wires and timing any other ideas?
