Fork on the road (manual or power)??

Here is a video of my car at Laguna Seca with a Tcp Man Rack. I run 245 45 17 tires up front and it is a little tough in a parking lot, but the feedback at speed is amazing. You can feel the front tires starting to slip away in the steering wheel. YouTube - Greg G | Mustang GT500 | Session...

TCP- Manual R/P steering opinions please!

I feel better now. I thought mine was a heavy pig. I have the full interior and trunk and all the fiberglass. But I have a 9 inch in the rear and 13" brakes up front and 12" in the rear with 17 inch wheels. I also have lots of extra metal to add strength to the car and a heavy Kenne Bell...

TCP- Manual R/P steering opinions please!

Jon350, How did you get the weight down to 2734 lbs? Does it have a full interior? My 68 weighed in at 3140 with gas and no driver. I was hoping to get it under 3000 But I do not want to strip the interior. Nice car by the way.

TCP- Manual R/P steering opinions please!

I am using the Tcp complete front suspensions with 450 lb springs and the fully adjustable shocks and a 1" sway bar. In the rear I am running the Maier racing 165 lb race springs and their adjustable panhard bar. The car is great at high speed sweepers, I have even had a friend who tracks an...

Versailles rear with 275 tires back space?

Well, I got the wheeels and tires mounted and on the car. I went with 5.5" Bs on the rear and 4 7/8 on the front. The rears are 275 40 17 and the fronts are 245 45 17. The tires fit perfect with the versailles rear with no rubbing. The fronts fit perfect also. I did not have to roll the rear...

    Bilstein Shocks

Funny this should topic should come up. I just went with the maier race rear springs 165lb and the Bilstein shocks. But the shocks were on back order and I was going to a car show, so my friend let me borrow a set of Konis he had. I drove 40 miles with the konis and was very unhappy with the...

17 inch wheels with Tcp coilover

I have the tcp coil over and currently run 17 x 8 with 4.25 bs. I am ordering new wheels with 4.75bs and could probably get 5"bs to fit. So you should have no problems.

EFI S/C question in 68 coupe...

I have a 68 with a 5.0 motor and a kenne bell supercharger. The motor has performance heads, exhaust, cam and made 379 to the rear wheels on the dyno. I can still get 18-20 mpg on a highway drive. Around town you can just forget it, its too much fun to use all that torque

    Unisteer Rack & Pinion

Just got back from a test drive with the new rack installed. All I can say is wow. The car drives so much better. 3 turns lock to lock is unbelievable. It turns at low speed easier then it did before and at highway speeds it is now a pleasure to drive. The ratio is fast enough so you barely...

    Unisteer Rack & Pinion

Well, after tons of frustration, I have decided to ditch the unisteer. I have consulted with a few people, and they all agree that the angles on the joints are too great. I cannot get rid of the binding. So this morning I bought a Total control rack and pinion and already have it installed...

    Unisteer Rack & Pinion

The angle on the joint at the rack is appx 35 degrees, but I change that angle for the better if I can angle the shaft to the rack from the column sooner, but with the header problem I cant. So, I have cut up the new hooker headers since the # 6 cylinder tube was in the way of the shaft. This...
