    Switch works. Motor runs. Passenger side of mechanism seems to be working OK. Drivers side both up and down seems to be dragged into position by passenger side. Have to help it up manually. Ideas?

    I've got a catted Bassani and love the sound. If I were going off-road I'd check the Mr. Gas if it can still be found. They seemed to put up some pretty good power numbers. No idea about the sound.

    Get someone to run an exhaust gas check on your cooling system. Most good shops can do this and it is a quick, easy way to find out if you have a direct connection between your combustion chamber and cooling system.

    Can't tell you about the Eibach. Installed the Bilstein BTS kit last summer and I really like it. About a 1 in. drop and good handling/ride. Definately an improvement over stock.

    To polish intake or not to polish that is my question?

    If I remember correctly only the first 200 were extrude honed the rest were acid dipped. My guess is that there is still some hp to be had by working the intake. There was a guy in California that was doing intake work on 99 and 01s and folks were picking up 12 -15 rwhp using his manifolds.

    What's a good lowering spring for 99 cobra

    I needed struts/shocks at the same time so I put in the Bilstein BTS kit. Happy so far. Still good ride quality. Lowered it about an inch, maybe a little more. Handling is much better than stock.

    Fluids

    The only cooling system additive that I've used consistently is Red Line Water Wetter. Folks that have real working guages indicate that it does help keep temps in line. I'm using Red Line fluids all the way back. So far so good.
