    Traction Help......

    Try taking your rear sway bar off and then report back on the difference in traction. Been there, done that! A good stiff rear bar is absolutely necessary for improved traction.

    Traction Help......

    Might want to upgrade the rear sway bar too. A stiffer rear bar will help both wheels to keep planted better. With a weak sway bar more load goes on the passenger rear tire less on the drivers. Result is less traction as both tires will spin sooner.

    2011 GT Auto Trans sluggish at times

    Might check the fluid level. When it's cold the fluid has a lower level than once the fluid is warm. If it's bordline low then this could be the culprit. I run mine an extra 1/4 quart over.

    Wonder what brand/size tire with race compound for those 19 x 10 rear wheels. I have found no current sticky tire that will fit a 19 x 10 wheel.

    Very good numbers for a 5.0 engine. A stock 6.2 Corvette doesn't make quite 397 hp.

    You guys that run regular should have bought a 6 cylinder. Why compromise for only a couple bucks a tank. Shouldn't be driving a performance if you can't afford the extra couple bucks a tank.

    Automatic is 4.2% taller but with a loose converter and traction the manual tranny doesn't have a chance.

    Correction to my reply about the 02 in the tube of shorties. It is in the collector but in one maybe two brands I examined it covered one of the tubes so it might as well have been welded into the tube.

    Did you not read my post #26? You get additional reduction from the water pump pulley assuming it is larger than the factory. That's in addition to reduction produced by the crank. You don't have to install the water pump pulley to have reduction of the water pump.

    I suppose if you like the aluminum better that would be the choice. I just like the factory look of the Racer better. Just like I like my factory bulett wheels better than any of the aftermarket. Both intakes make the same hp as posted on C&L site for the mildly modded car.
