The 99 SHOULD make the same horsepower as long as it got the fix. The 99s were overrated due to a intake manifold that did not flow as it should, most cars got fixed under a recall and should be the same as 01s.

Does anyone know how to set up the fan control on a Predator so that it comes on at the proper times with say, a 180* thermostat? Or how to adjust the fan controls at all? I don't really understand what the values mean.

Use a clay bar found at any auto parts store, it will take off almost anything and is very gentle on the clear coat.
