    I know what you mean. I have a hard time paying someone over 10K for a body kit, some wheels, seats and a light bar. I would give it some consideration though if it were a GREAT deal. I think I have pretty much decided against it. Thanks for your comments.

    Hey! I agree with everyone above. Go with the CAI and Tune. I highly recommend the JLT 2 and the XCAL II combination as that's what I have and I love it. Also, the Borlas are awesome as well!

    I am very pleased with the quality of the JLT intake and the tune he provided was specifically written by SCT to go with his intake. I am just wondering if a custom tuner will be able to provide a tune that is much better than the one written by SCT without being harmful/risky to the engine.

    Muffler/exhaust options for convertibles

    Borla All The Way! I would put in a strong recommendation for Borlas. I have the Stingers (more aggressive than regular Borlas) and they sound great. Plus, they are Stainless and will most likely last much longer than Flowmasters. Just my opinion though! :nice:

    The Borlas are quite loud and do drone quite a bit around 2,000 rpm. I ordered mine online but you can get them almost anywhere delivered for around $500. FYI, the FRPP exhaust is a bit cheaper and is made by Borla if you can find one. I have heard they are back ordered and hard to find. I...

    My Borla didn't take long to install (approximately 1 1/2 hours), but alignment is a completely different matter. I had to take them back off and bend the rods to get the tips centered. Take your time and don't get frustrated.

    Ever too early to tune?

    I have the JLTII and the SCT XCAL and I installed them at around 1,000 miles. You will love the combo, especially if you have an automatic tranny! I think the only real issue is the warranty consideration, but you will never be able to wait three years or 36k to install the combo! LOL!

    Borla Stingers

    Lots of Drone Though! I have the Borla Stingers and they sound awesome! There is a lot of drone with them at around 2000 rpm though (automatic transmission). They definitely turn heads! :nice:

    Does Manually Switching OD On & Off Damage Tranny?
