Roush 01 S281. is it worth it?

ok guys I found an 01 S281 coupe with just shy of 80,000 miles. Bone stock except for an o/r x pipe. he is asking 17K

absolutely nothing wrong with the car. is 17K too much or is this a good deal?

It all depends on what you want....You could get a Saleen w/80xxx miles for 17k or you could get a mach w/14xxx miles for 17k or an 03 cobra w/20xxx miles for 20k...It depends if you only want it cause its a saleen or you want to go fast or what...I have had my saleen for 4 years now though and I am glad I got it cause of all the cobras I see driving around...

Seems a bit high to me bro. That is a boat load of miles. I think, if you take your time and look around, you can find one for the same price with less miles. There are a lot of 99+ cars out there. Is it a s/c car? What about options (special color, brake upgrade, wheel upgrade, interior upgrade, etc). If it is just a run-of-the-mill 80K car w/ nothing special, I'd say the guy is about 3-4K to high. I'd hold out for something special...
