02 MUSTANG PERFORMANCE OPTION QUESTIONS

The car is a 2002 Mustang v6 convertible. Not a lot of mods what so ever.

My questions have to do with mods that can be done to this mustang, and if these mods are worth doing. As In will it make the v6 perform better and/or give it more power.

1) cannibalize a superbird
2) gears 3.73 if you install the charger off the superbird
3) tune to compliment the charger

1) Put a Cobra s/c on it! :O

1) start looking for used engine from a Super Coupe

2) buy a dedicated s/c (vortech, procharger)

3) leave it alone

you'll spend over a grand on little parts like CAI, TB, exhaust, pulleys, handheld tuner, etc. and go from 190hp to 205hp

4) Performance Pulley= wont do much

5) Performance chip, Superchip, = you need this with nitrous and it is worth a hell of a lot in a auto.


with a 75 shot, 4.10s, and a tune you should be looking at some 13s
