Ok so i got a good deal on an 04 cobra rear bumper. yes i know my car is not a cobra and it will never bare a cobra badge, matter of fact it still has all the stock LX badges. anyway the bumper i got is black in color with chrome insters, i got it for $150.00 which i think was a good deal, its got pleanty of scratches on the paint but i dont car because its going to be painted anyway...

However the lower trim peice that goes between the exhuast cut outs which is kind of a plastic/vynal peice that is textured, well its got a few scratches in it as well and what can i do about that? can i get that part repainted black to get rid of the scratches? help me please!

BTW, cobra letters will most likly be filled in, so dont flame.

ur question would be best answered by a body shop... i think if the texture peice were painted it would become smooth, hope this helps

Any surface on the car can be painted, textured or not. Scratches can be filled with spot putty, sanded, primed and repainted. If you desire a textured appearance, it can be done fairly easily by an experienced painter.
