03 Cv To 2000 Gt Swap Question

    i recall hearing someone say something about the water pump being reverse flow...... is this true? motor that got pulled was the stock Windsor, engine going in is a 03 romeo from a crown vic.. getting it ready to drop back in and want to make sure I don't need to change the water pump before hand....thanks, steve.

    You will NOT have to change the water pump because of rotation.

    You may have to change the water pump because of the front timing cover. The water pump will either have a long nose or a short nose. It's easy to figure out. If you use the wrong water pump, then the pulley will not line up.
