I was fighting with spinning 2nd gear, had to mess with tire Psi since I had to heat the tires up longer, the track was cold. If 2nd grabbed like it did before[ 2 weeks ago,,,,] I think my 12.89 run could of been a 12.7 if I got a good 60ft with it....... Im impressed {surprised} with the way the car ran with the stock gears in it.

How did you get rid of 4 - 500 pounds? With you in it a stock GT would weigh at least 3500 pounds. Your race weight was 3012 pounds? Please tell me how, did you gut your nice new Mustang?
 
you ran 12.8's with LT's, X-Pipe and U/D pulleys with stock gears??? Obviously your car weighs close to 3,000lbs, but geez.....great times. Looking forward to my GT even more now, knowing someone can hit 12's with that (although I'm curious like everyone else how you lost all that weight)

Still have stock Kmember shock [springs just cut]
Also had stock front wheels on. Think i can get another 100to 150lbs out of the car.

On the weight reduction

Generic post from another thread asking same? On weight
Weight is with me in the car.
Race seats
took off dogbone
no back seat
Upr lower control arms saved some weight
centerLine telstars out back
A/C delete
took out sound deadener
Modified stock hood to be lift off.......thread is under drag racing at moduLar depot some were
Some unneeded braces were taking off around the car
cutting stock springs lost a few pounds.
Tail pipes cut off and dumped behind mufflers
took bumper suports off[taking out a day or 2 before race time]
took pasenger seat out at the track.
Might be forgetting some crap I use to have it all Listed on my comp but Lost it all when my comp Locked up.

New England dragway is in NH. Great Air If you can get the car to hook up wasnt easy.. But There was great people there Who helped with info on what the track was doing. Plus fast cars to work the groove.
