My car is an 05 GT, I've added a CAI, throttle body spacer, tune, headers and exhaust.

What is the rpm at idle suppose to be? What is a really good rpm at idle?

I don't know much about that type of stuff and was curious to learn more. My car drives great, but I was curious about this.

    Good question

I have herd almost all the new GT's with a tune running in the 900rpm range. I don't know why when even through stock exhaust these cars sound great at 650-750. I run mine right at 700rpm. Anything less then 675 or so you will have to listen to it try to die off of a hard rev or two. The motor catches itself set to 700 or at least mine does. I know you need the rev factor though, I hate hearing a coffee can at stoplights and love seeing import drivers sink in there seats. Just my .02$ on the topic:SNSign:

750rpm is the idle in my manual 5-speed car.
