05 mustang in fail safe engine mode

hey just wondering if anyone could help me with a problem i am having i have a 05 mustang GT 4.6 and the other day it just started running like crap and then the failsafe engine mode came on and check engine light, i checked the check engine light and it sounds like a TPS and from what i have found online its a common problem on the 05 mustang, so if anyone has had this problem please help me out... i have put a new TPS in and it still dose the same thing now were do i turn help please

Do you have a friend with a Mustang? If so take his complete TB off and swap it out with your, clear the codes and see what happens.
