i just recently got a 331 in place of my 302.. Now i ran a crower cam 15512 with 1.7's... my question is since i got a bigger stroke, will this affect the way my cam sounds, the higher stroke?

It sounded pretty nice, but i would like to have a little more choppier cam, will the more cubes meloy out the choppy sound or make it sound beefer?

on the 302 i ran bkk shorties, but w/ the 331 im running bbk long tube, would this affect the way the cam sounds as well? thanks guys !

The long tubes will effect the exhaust sound due to the increased scavaging.

The 1.7's will add .030-.031 to the gross valve lift but are not effected by the stroke of the engine.

Don't base your cam around sound....base it on performance. The "shoppy or lope" you hear is the overlap in the cam, aggresive NA cams usually have more overlap, power adder cams usually have less.
