I've searched around in the archives and didn't really find what I was looking for.
I have some mildly ported GT-40's (exhaust side, mostly) and an Explorer upper and lower. I'll be using the stock TB and prolly a Cobra MAF and 24's. Typical unequal shorties and cat-less h-pipe with the current FM cat-back exhaust will be added when the heads are installed.
My question is this: Should I use 1.7 rockers on the stock cam or switch to a different cam ("E", Steeda 19, etc) and stay with 1.6's? Either way, I'll be buying new rockers. My goal is not "max hp" just a few nice mods to help me feel the "pull" of a respectable/somewhat powerful car.
