Hey, are there any upgrade kits for the mt-82 getrag 6 speed in the 11-12 mustangs? I have a feeling with longtubes and other bolt ons, the stock clutch/trans wont hold up to the abuse.

Also, will a GT500 trans fit up to the coyote motor? the tr6060 i believe its called. I was thinking about finding a used one and swapping it in. But i would love to keep the getrag because it's really easy to powershift and i like the close gear ratios.. so if anyone has any info on upgrade kits for it could you please share it. Thanks

JPC has an excellent 6spd replacement kit specifically made for the power curves of the 5.0L. GT-500 trans will hold up for power but gearing is iffy for the power bands of the Coyote.

is the JPC kit the one that uses the t56 magnum? Are they starting to sell the kit now or what?
