$11,500 to spend and looking to make my stang a 500hp daily driver, what should i do?

The main thing is do you want to stay na or power adder? I should be over 400 to the wheels with my setup as my dd.

Aside from answering how to get 500hp, do you really want this to be your DD? I have a 300rwhp daily driver and I can not wait till November when I'll be able to buy and Explorer as my DD. It's not that my car is unreliable...it's SCT tuned and starts without a problem every morning and has never left me stranded. But there's always that "what if" it doesn't start tomorrow, how am I getting to work. Also every morning I start my car to drive it five minutes to then park it and shut it off. It's not even fully warmed up by the time I get to work. What I'm getting at is daily driving is hard on any car not to mention something with, in your case potentially 500hp. I know there's a bunch of us using the stang as a DD, and some don't have a problem, but it's just something to think about.

That's why I finally got the Escort....26mpg, ICE cold air, and fairly new looking for a 96 with 36k miles.

Also, It sucks to never be able to have your car down for a few days to work on it.

ok let me get this straight.first you ask how to make 500hp and still be reliable?you get alot of answers from people trying to help you out.then a few replys later you are wanting to buy a camaro from some gm guy thats spending his time reading a mustang forum.whats that tell you about him?now you need to make up your mind here,do you want the mustang or the camaro?if you want the mustang,as far as motors go,check with foxlake and welcome aboard.if you want a camaro,sell the mustang buy the camaro.join one of there sites and quit wasting our time with questions about a car you dont even want.why are camaro guys reading about mustangs anyways?sorry about the rant guys

You just reminded me I still have a Kenne Belle Blowzilla sitting at my house that needs a good home. I was making 450 to the wheels with it on pump gas and 8#'s of boost.
