Well soon i'll have a video and pics of my buddy's truck, and why i wanna build a mustang lol. My buddy has a 99 Silverado single cab 2wd. he's dropping in a Chevy 6.0 with a custom cam (not sure on the specs but its big) long tubes, 3" exhaust, no cats, built tranny, 3000 stall, built rear with 4.10's and some spray 100-200 shot. Should be a damn fast truck upwards of 400 HP...and now i need a stang to stomp him

Make sure to get a superchips tuner for the truck.
I had a 2500hd (2005) and got a tuner from eBay and it REALLY woke the truck up. It was like $200 used but worth every penny. The gas mileage increased slightly but the big difference was in the speed limiter (gone was the 99mph stock restriction) and the shifts were nice and harsh after the installation. It would snap your neck instead of smoothly engage.

Do a google search for a guy by the name Parish and his turbo chevy truck.

Absolutely insane. Last I knew 1000+hp and 1000+ft-lbs.
