Not sure if this is the right forum for this but. . .

My car came with some nice Torque Thrust rims. The front tires need to be replaced at some point and i would like some opinions on how this might look. Currently the rears are 17" with 245/45r17 tires and the front are 225/55/r16 (so they are practically the same size). Each looks great, but kind of funny together on the same vehicle. Since there are better things to spend money on the car besides replacing good rims for a matched set. . .does anyone have any pictures of a similar setup, and what sized tires did you use?

I was thinking of replacing the front tires with 225/50r16 so the side walls would be practically the same size. . .or go a tad smaller with 225/45r16 so the difference is noticeable. But is a 225/45 too small? I can't really picture this in my head. . .or would it even be noticeable at all?

Thanks!
