RI BEACHES
Can u guys suggest tire sizes for the following rims..

NEW 18x9 fronts "OE FR500 "

NEW 18x10" Rears "Wheel replica's FR500 Deep Dish"

I want to run a wide tire out back and need to know if a 295/35 or 305/35 is going to be ok.. And what tire size should I get in the front to keep the car good in cornering/handling like a cobra should be..

Also I looked into Nitto's [555 extreme] and they didn't seem to have the sizes with a 35 aspect ratio height ??.. All they had was:

295/45/18
255/45/18

Q: Will this 45% height tire on an 18" rim rub the IRS or other areas out back ??

I got two weeks to figure this out any input is welcome..

Nitto's website shows a 285/35/18 and a 305/35/18, so I would assume someone must have them in those sizes for sale. If you find them somewhere let me know, because those are right around the size I am looking for.

From what I have heard, 295/45/18 will definately rub...

tires.com has them in those two sizes, actually. For some reason when you search by brand and select "Nitto," the 555R DR comes up twice, the second one shows the 285/35 and 305/35

Sorry I forgot to sy I'm looking for a NON Drag Radial Tire that I can get some good miles out of...Nitto doesn't make a 305 in the NON Drag Radial..

I'm going with 295/35/18 out back and 265/35/18 up front.. And I'm gonna go for another set of Toyo T1S's. I did my research a few times now and gonna keep the Toyo's .. (Who happen to own Nitto )..

I think the 265/35 and 295/35 is a good choice and I haven't heard of anyone having IRS clearance problems with it. FYI: that's also the stock set-up Saleens use and it looks pretty damn good.

So no clearance problems even on lowered ones? Looks like I might be going with these sizes too... :nice:
