I am looking at a new set of wheels and tires for my 08 GT/CS. They are 18x9.5 front and rear, with a 45mm offset, 7.125" backspace. The company says they are a direct fit for my 2008, but 9.5 sounds awfully big for fronts.

Anyone have a set up like this that can give me some advice?

The wheels are wrapped in 275/40/18 Sumitomo HTRZ III Tires.

Thanks!

I ran 275/17's on 9 inch rims my 99 and 04. No issues , you will love the feel and look. As for the Sumitoma tires not sure, Id definatly run a higher quality
tire to avoid tracking concerns and sidewall flex. Nitto 555, Yokohama S-drive
or BFG's are better choices for tires, and not that much more $$$.

Thanks for the advice.

I think I might go with these, now that I have had a chance to do some research. Why do you say to stay away from the HTRZ III Tires? I know they are a cheaper tire, but have a pretty decent rating at tire rack.

If I do get this setup, I will be sure to post my thoughts after putting some miles on em for you karagannis112.
