I went to the Petersen automotive museum this weekend and took a couple pics of this 1965 Mustang built by George Barris. I have seen the Sonny and Cher Mustangs, but never heard of or saw this one before.

From what the plaque said, it was used in some movie back in the day. "wtf?" is what I said when I first saw it too, definitely trippy.

I had to look this up.

It looks like he was using the 1963 concept Mustang as inspiration... and a Zebra.

That is sooo cool. I miss and like the 70's style paint jobs and custom work. Now days everything is just 20-30 TV's huge stereos even bigger wheels blah blah blah. Corvette Summer kicks A$$!!!!:D

I like Corvette Summer. Those style cars are fun. I wouldn't do it to mine, but its cool. The new stuff is all about rims and audio navigation screens etc. Its crap.

It almost looks like a Javelin. It is ugly IMHO, but I'm glad it is in a museum for the semi-historical aspect of it anyway.
