I am rebuilding a 1989 Ford F-150 5.0 motor. It's different than the Mustang motor, and only came with 185 HP stock, non roller motor. I NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH HORSEPOWER I'VE GAINED BY MY UPGRADES. HEADS ... I had the heads reworked, shaved 20,000 off, 3 angle valve job, CAM ... added a mild Comp Cam 31-255-5 (more low end torque than stock but still able to use with computer and fuel injection), TIMING ... increased the timing a degree or two to use with higher octane gas, HEADERS ... shorty headers added, OTHER ... new rings, timing chain/gears, oil pump, etc... Any idea how much horsepower I've gained above the stock 185 HP?
