Hey guys i have a few questions for you. Right now i have a 95 gt with an EFi 393w that i converted into it that car. I'm getting ready to switch to this engine to a carb'd motor as well as switching it into a 1985 fox body that had a 408 w in it but now is engine and tran-less. Here are my questions. 1. I have hooker 351w swap shortie headers that i paid a high price for on my 393w now. Can i reuse them in the 85? they are EGR LESS, The 85 already had double hump trans member for exhaust. If these will work in the car do i need to us a H pipe out of my 95 or one for a fox body? 2) Are the 85 gts fuel injected or carb'd as is? My reason for asking if is it has an electronic fuel pump or mechanical driven fuel pump? 3) All my front serp belt accessories are from a 95 gt. Will i be able to use them in the 85 or do i have to convert to 85 style alt (for wiring purpose) and ps pump also water pump...all of which are new from my 95? Can my high torque starter on my 393 now be used in this car as well again on the wiring side? 4) My trans is a tko 500 so i'm good there and 85 is already converted to manual with pedals and all. Sorry for all the questions. I got pick this car up tmrw and start the project so i'm trying to get an idea of what i'm looking at here. Thank you.
also i plan on running an HEI style diszy in the 393w once its completely converted to a carb setup. Where is a good area to find which wires i'll need to run my ign 12+, oil pressure sender, temp sender, tach drive ect?
