Hi! Had a major malfunction with my IRS and it was cheaper to just do a SRA swap. I have a 99 convertible and got the SRA from an 03 Mach 1. I used the shocks from the Mach 1 and springs from my Cobravert. I'm thinking that's where the problem is as the rear is jacked up about 5 inches above the tire. I was looking at spring rates for the SRA vs. the IRS and wanted to confirm that which set i need... rear springs from a GT convertible or hardtop?

I've an IRS for sale too, probably manageable repair for someone with the time and inclination. Control arms would probably be the only thing to change.

Thank you!

Hey furthur,
You can go with either the vert or GT springs. They should be the same as new spring applications apply to both the GT and Convertable. The vert will be a little heavier than the GT, however the ride height difference between the two models would be hard to spot.

PM me regarding the IRS. Depending on your location, I may be interested.
