2.3l Carb Question

I need to replace my original carb on my 78 2.3l. Doing a nos restoration, I have a non-California car (Texas). I can get a new NOS Ford/Weber 2.3l Carb but it's for California. I don't have all their extra smog junk on mine to deal with. Will it work? My code is a D8EE-JA, while the other is a D8EE-CA. According to .net's info it is correct for my car but for the Calif Emmisions. May need to plug some extra vacuum ports? Looks exactly like mine except for the right/rear. Should be able to swap out the electric choke(?) and put my vacuum one on.
