2.3L TO 5.0L CONVERSION

HI, I KNOW YOU GUYS PROBABLY GET TIRED OF ANSWERING QUESTIONS ON THIS SWAP, BUT HERE IS MINE. I HAVE A 93' LX HATCHBACK , ORIGINALLY A 2.3L NOW A 5.0L. I DID THE SWAP,THE CAR IS FUEL INJECTED,HAS ALL OF THE GT SUSPENSION COMPONETS.IT ALSO HAS THE RIGHT COMPUTER AND COMPUTER HARNESS. IT ALSO HAS A INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OUT OF A 92'GT. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE GAUGES DON'T WORK RIGHT . TACH WORKS UNTIL YOU TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS. FUEL GAUGE DOESN'T WORK UNTIL YOU TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS. NO DASH LIGHTS. TEMP GAUGE WORKS WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE OFF. RIGHT TURN SIGNAL STAYS LIT. I HAVE DOUBLE CHECKED ALL OF THE CONNECTIONS AND ALL OF THE BULBS. EVERYTHING IN THIS CONVERSION WAS DONE RIGHT. THE CONVERSION LOOKS FACTORY. I AM REALLY STUCK HERE AND I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP AND IDEAS SOMEONE COULD OFFER TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM I AM HAVING. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

thanks for the info, i heard before that on this conversion , that you have to change all of the wiring behind the dash. i also heard that you don't. i just want to make sure . i already forked out $50 for the bad gt cluster that i have now. by the way , i'll be needing a new 5.0 instrument cluster. does anybody have one?
