Okay so I'm looking for ways to increase performance in my 1978 King Cobra. I'm looking at a power plus intake paired with a holley 600cfm carburetor that I found on craigslist. Is the conversion as easy as taking the old off and putting the new on?? Anyone have a how-to??

well yes and no LOL, I've been wrenching on cars for a long time now so I don't think anything of it, but basically you need to pull the old carb and intake off and install the new intake then the carb on the top of it, if your an automatic there is a kickdown for the trans that you need the carb to have, all though its not really a necessity as far as I'm concerned, others may disagree but thats OK, its not a big deal, nothing to do but dive in and do it, you may have some issues with the accelerator linkage, and then again it may just hook right up, either way thats easy to figure out, go a head and do it and let us know how it goes, oh one thing, you should find out the torque specs and torque the intake down in sequence.
