2000 vs 2007 gt?

I currently have a stock 2000 GT, how much quicker are the 2007s? Im thinking of getting a 2007. Also, how worried about this leak issue should I be? Thanks for any info/advice?

My 05 GT is every bit as fast as my 99 cobra was, all it takes is a couple of simple mods, cold air intake and exhaust to really wake these cars up.

I had a 01 GT 5spd, Mods: 3.73's, cai, diablo program, udp's, o/r x, slp loudmouth, steeda short throw, steeda springs, acufab throtle body & plenum.

I think that was it. My car with my mods now would straight up spank my old GT hands down no questions asked.
