Saw these on MSN, and I'm somewhat let down by the 05 Mustangs.

It doesn't look as though the tail pipes will come through the bumper like all the other preview pics we've seen. Someone will no doubt be working on this after market correction.

The engine looks nothing like what I've seen before either.

    Tell us what you think...

It wouldn't look bad with a chrome CAI to replace that ugly factory tube.

Look at these previews by Ford. The first two are from someone's post here on Stangnet, and the last is from Ford. The engine bays aren't even close.

I've seen other Ford supplied photos, and they presented the engine as all nice and shiny silver and chrome with tight fitting components and no visible wires. I'm sure the last pic is some sort of mock up, but still, not even close.

I will say though, that I really like the looks of the auto shift handle. Great throw-back design! :nice:

i still HATE the placement of that trangle window. it looks so out of place the way its separated from the door glass.

The pillar is a little thick, but I'm sure within months, someone will come out with some louvers. I think the 05 is a perfect candidate for rear louvers.
