2004 Sirius Ready Headunit into 2003 Cobra

Does anyone know if you can put a 2004 headunit that is Sirius ready into a 2003? I have a 2003 Cobra and want to get Sirius in it, and would love to have the factory integrated headunit if I could.

Has anyone done this or knows someone that has?

the plug on the radio is complete differrent. adn you need the add on kit for sirius that runs about $225

Yes it is possible to do. I had to buy a sirius ready deck and found one that was a factory 6-disc mp3 player which is sweet....

I also had to purchase a new harness that converted the old style plugs into the new one... it was pricey but I was anal about it and wanted the factory setup. Its a convertible and didn't want to have to take the sirius external unit off everytime I parked with the top down.

I then bought the sirius ford unit and plugged everything up and bingo.. works like a charm.
