2010 headers

hey guys,I need a little help.i put headers on my 2010 gt and the check engine light came on,do i need a tune or did i not put something back on right?

I was talking with Brenspeed yesterday when I ordered my headers and asked about a tune for them. I was told that some headers will set off a cel situation because the cats are farther downstream than the stock location of the sensor. They told me if I get a cel then to call and they will email me a free revised tune to take care of it. I would guess that is what is going on with you.

What brand did you go with and how did the install go?

was hoping that I wouldnt have to get a tune,but that is more stuff that I can do to it.I bought BBK chrome,the sound is really good.The install was a pain in the ass,but it was fun.I believe, I'm going to go back underneath and re-check to to make sure.Any other opinions would be helpful.thanks

Everything might be perfectly fine and the reason you have a light is from running lean. LTs can do that, for some people they have no problems, but then a majority do. Apparently you do Sorry bud. Glad the install and sound is to your liking though! Nothing like a good deep rumble

well, we will see what happens.i just bought a sct/sf3 x3 tuner with custom Bama tune...........let the games begin.my wife is going to kill me

No she would kill whats left of you if you blew up the engine Just tell her 400$ is better than totaling the car or 5kish for a new engine Hope it works out...
