20amp/40amp or do i even need a boostapump????

im trying to figure out if i need a boostapump. i know it never hurts to have one, but if i do need one, what one do i need??? im running a cammed 5.0 mod stroker,16-18 psi via intercooled vortech v2 with stage 2 snow meth injection, victor efi intake with 6061 plenum, sct ba5000 slot mafs, 75mm tbody, 60# injectors,cobra tank/hat/dual cobra pumps. im shooting for 600rwhp with my new tune in april. i made 414whp with 8psi no cams,intake,meth,much smaller piping and intercooler than i have now, and a pegging mafs. so again my question is this, do i need a bap to accomplish a reliable 600rwhp? if so which one do i need...20a or 40a???? please advise!

What "duel fuel pumps" are you running?
And why is the maf pegging? Should be good to 800+HP?

An to answer the question I would go with the 40a? You have "duel fuel pumps".

The mafs that was pegging was much smaller, the sctba5000 will never peg. I am running dual cobra pumps.

I'm gettin one. Probly be the 20amp. You could go that route an would work. I have found out though if you do go the 40amp BAP route. You have to look into up'n the fuse panel? Have to go from a max 30amp fuse to the 40amp? And the wire from panel to FPDM? But the bigger 40amp would push two Cobra pumps to around 700hp. No problem. With the 60# injectors bump the fuel psi up an get probly like ?800hp range.

I need one for my Novi2000.
