A 205/60R13 will work, but can a 215/50R13 be squeezed on even though the rim is not within the suggested width range?

Yes! Some dealers grumble, but they work. I have a set of 215/60-13s on my factory slotted wheels, and I've loved them. I only wish somebody still made that size, but the 50 series seems to be it.

There is a slight bulge outward of the tire, but less so than what I see everyday from the 275/40-17s crammed onto factory 17x8 wheels.

    They are available at tirerack.com
    Although they are summer tires.

Would you possibly take a pic of those tires mounted on the stock wheels?

I've seen BF Goodrich list the 215/50-13 from time to time. Certainly not a popular size much anymore. There's also a 205/60-13 out there aswell also seen thru BF Goodrich. That 215/50-13 is pretty lo-profile isn't it??

I had a pair of 235/60-14s on the rear of my II on 14x6 rims. They do bulge just a bit but not so that they look bad. :nice:

I'm sorry it's taking me so long to get a pic of those tires on my wheels. Batteries were dead in the camera, I've gotta dig up some fresh ones... Like Dano mentioned, I can find the 215/50-13s, but *nobody* seems to show a 60 series. I checked tirerack, and that was all I saw.
